The Opportunity:

St. Luke's Hospital Transitional Care Center in Cedar Rapids, IA is currently seeking a dedicated LPN/RN to join our team for 1st shift. This position offers a sign-on bonus for the right candidate who is passionate about providing high-quality care to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing direct patient care in a transitional care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
  • Assessing patients' needs, developing care plans, and implementing treatments
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring and documenting patients' progress and vital signs
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Iowa
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or transitional care setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care

Compensation

30.00-42.50 per hour
